Vamshi Gumalapuram


Vamshi graduated from Oklahoma State University with an MBA in Finance in 2001. He now works for a Technology Consulting Firm managing & implementing SAP Business Intelligence projects.As a consultant working for a variety of Consulting firms, Vamshi has lived in 9 different cities in the last 11 years and now calls Los Angeles, the best city on earth and his sweet home.Vamshi loves the Los Angeles Lakers, and is passionate follower of the game. He joined the Net IP LA-OC Board in the year 2009, and would like to make a difference to the community through the various projects that Net IP LA-OC is part of.
Anuradha Mohleji
Vice President


Anu Mohleji has been involved with NetIP LA-OC Board because she enjoys event planning and bringing people together for great causes. She describes herself as someone "In love with the richness of the Indian culture". On her many trips to India, she always likes to try something new. She has traveled up the 10,000 steps of Girnar mountain,  taken crash courses in Kathak, and traveled the beaches of Goa. Her goal as the Vice President of Net IP is to try to bring together a community of individuals who are looking to network, while enjoying the beauty of the Indian culture.
Pankaj Rao
Chapter Liasion


Pankaj Rao has been involved with Net IP LA-OC since the past few years as a membership director, President and now as a National Liason. Pankaj grew up in Dubai and graduated with a Masters in Computer science from Syracuse University. A very popular figure in LA-OC desi community, Pankaj’s past experience with Net IP LA –OC is paying rich dividends for the current board.                                                                                                         
Sujit Silla
Sports Director


Sujit moved to Los Angeles in 2003, and found home in the vibrant city of remarkable diversity and warm people who revel in the great outdoors. This is where he discovered the joys of sailing, snowboarding, kayaking, windsurfing, rafting, rock-climbing, camping and more and loves to share this passion with others.He believes that love for the great outdoors leads to respect for the forces of nature that make this planet habitable, and to an understanding of how quickly we’re choking the life out of this beautiful planet.Professionally, Sujit is a software consultant for mortgage, entertainment and biotech companies and also a real estate investor.
Sapan Shah
LA Events Director


Sapan initially joined NetIP LA-OC Board as Recreational Activities Chair for Orange County before taking on the role of LA Events Director. He is really excited about his new role as Events Director and looking forward to organize some great events for NetIP LA-OC members. His vision is to use NetIP as a platform to create a strong professional and social network among Indian Professionals in LA-OC area. Sapan graduated from Georgia Tech (Go Jackets!) with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and currently works for Honeywell as an Aerospace Engineer in Torrance, CA.

Mary John was born and raised in India. She is part of NetIP LA-OC Board because she wants to be and make a difference.  She is passionate about her community and her people.  Currently she resides in Beverly Hills with her 2 daughters. She is a Vice President and a banker of one of the largest financial institution
Sonia Shah
Community Service Chair


Sonia joined NETIP LA-OCBoard  as the Chair of Community Service, to make more of an impact in the community.  Her favorite quote is  "Be the change you want to see in the world.”--Mahatma Gandhi. In this role she plans to work with organizations to develop collaborations and partnerships to engage South Asians to become more involved in community service projects.
Sonia graduated from Loma Linda University School of Public Health, with a Masters in Public Health. She currently works at Kaiser Permanente.
Reshma Tolani
LA- Political Awareness Chair


Reshma is a Law school graduate with substantial clinical experience in criminal and civil litigation support.  She is an experienced human resources and client relationship manager in the insurance, banking and luxury retail industries and an aspiring citizen of the world who enjoys art, history, culture and politics.At Net IP LA-OC she would like to raise the political awareness of south asians by co-ordinating and spearheading programs in this area.
Milan Kapadia
OC-Political Awareness Chair


Milan moved to LA-OC area in 2008. He is originally from Houston and is a huge fan of Houston-Rockets. Milan works for a law firm specializing in Intellectual Property rights and is also a Full bright scholorship recipient. He spent a year in India learning how the Intellectual Property rights work in South Asia.
Apul Bhalani
Web Developement Chair


Apul  moved to California from Washington State  and joined NetIP to meet new people and network. It worked well and he met plenty of new people who are now his friends.  He is the Manager Of On-line Services at Reed Business Information.  He loves his job which lets him be a part of the Entertainment industry, and appreciates meeting new people.
Kiran Asola
Professional Development Chair


Kiran Asola joined the Net IP LA-OC Board this year and would like to make a difference by organizing and co-ordinating professional development events that can make a impact to the society. An avid reader, Kiran spends a lot of time reading books about Indian history, Politics and Business. Kiran works as a benefits consultant for Warner Bros Entertaiment
