CHAI CHAT - April 5th NetIP-LA invites you to join us at our monthly Chai Chat, this time in the West Los Angeles area. Come meet members of NetIP-LA or kick back and relax for a few hours with familiar faces and new friends. We hope to see you there, whether it's to discuss issues of today, or to simply get away from work for a while. Feel free to bring your friends and co-workers to the event on Thursday, April 5, 6:30 pm - 9 pm. Norton Simon Museum - April 7th Creation, Collection and the Cosmos- A Visit to the Norton Simon Museum Come join NetIP LA for a visit to the Norton Simon Museum to view their current exhibition, Creation, Collection and the Cosmos. Seventy masterpieces from the Norton Simon Museum's world-class collection of European, Asian and American art have been selected to demonstrate how artists defined spiritual connections with the cosmos within various cultural traditions and artistic media. Highlights of the exhibition include a selection of paintings and prints by Wassily Kandinsky; Gerard David's panel painting, The Coronation of the Virgin; a monumental Tibetan silk appliqué, The Future Buddha Maitreya; Ansel Adams's noted photograph Moonrise; a bronze Indian sculpture of Shiva as Nataraja; and a selection of graphic works by June Wayne.
